Richard Lyall is the President & CEO of the RESCON Residential Construction Council of Ontario, a position held since January 2001, where leadership and innovation in the residential construction industry are prioritized across various key areas, including labour relations and building code reform. Additionally, Richard serves as President of the Metropolitan Toronto Apartment Builders Association since January 1992, focusing on collective bargaining for high-rise residential apartment builders. Earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Policy Analyst at the Ontario Ministry of Economic Development, Job Creation and Trade from 1985 to 1992, where efforts were directed at boosting industrial growth and supporting small business development. Richard's educational background includes an ICD.D from the Rotman Institute of Corporate Directors at the University of Toronto, a diploma in Building Renovation Technology from George Brown College, and both a Master of Arts in Political Economy and a Bachelor of Arts in International Relations from the University of Toronto.
