Dan Kirvan

Dan Kirvan is a seasoned professional in safety and rescue operations with extensive experience in high-risk outdoor environments. Since April 2012, Dan has served as Regional Manager at Raven Rescue, Canada's leading provider of safety courses and equipment. Concurrently, since March 2009, Dan has held the role of Career Firefighter with the Ottawa Fire Service, where involvement includes membership in the USAR team and the Provincial Technical Rescue Committee. With over two decades of teaching experience as a certified technical rescue instructor at Rescue 3 International, Dan has also managed operations at OWL Rafting/Madawaska Kanu Centre from 2002 to 2013. Dan holds a Bachelor of Education from the University of Maine at Presque Isle and a Bachelor of Business Administration in Marketing from Lakehead University.
