Antu Sorainen

Antu Sorainen serves as an Academy Research Fellow at the Academy of Finland since September 2014, leading research projects focused on will-writing and inheritance practices in sexually marginalised groups, as well as examining kinship margins. In addition, Antu Sorainen has been a Docent and Academy Research Fellow at the University of Helsinki since 1996, where work involves pioneering methodological and theoretical approaches to study intimate economics and sexual diversity through a cross-disciplinary team. Antu Sorainen holds a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) from the University of Helsinki, with expertise in Gender Studies, Queer Studies, Law, Anthropology, and Inheritance.
