Erkka J. Frankberg

Erkka J. Frankberg is an accomplished researcher in the field of materials science, currently serving as an Academy Research Fellow and research group leader at Tampere University since April 2020, where Frankberg leads the INDUCER project funded by the Academy of Finland. Previous experience includes working as an Academy postdoctoral researcher, project leader for the cerAM project, and a Marie Skłodowska-Curie IF Fellow at the Istituto Italiano di Tecnologia, focusing on nuclear safety and advanced ceramic films. Frankberg is also active in the European Ceramic Society as a working group leader and serves as a secretary and board member for the Finnish Ceramic Society.
