Erkki Raulo

Erkki Raulo is an accomplished professional in higher education and research management, currently serving as the Head of Services for Doctoral Education and Senior Advisor for Research Training at the University of Helsinki since 2014. With extensive experience, Erkki coordinates the Integrative Life Science doctoral program and oversees the Doctoral School in Natural Sciences. In addition, Erkki has been representing the Academy of Finland in the ERA-Net NEURON initiative since 2007, focusing on brain and nervous system diseases. Prior roles include Scientific Coordinator for the Graduate Program in Biotechnology and Molecular Biology at the Institute of Biotechnology, Research Coordinator at FIMM, and multiple positions in international research and academia. Erkki holds a PhD in Biochemistry from the University of Helsinki, alongside a Master's degree in the same field and an International Diploma in Biotechnology.
