Jukka Koskela is a medical doctor with extensive experience in clinical and research settings. Currently employed at the Hospital District of Helsinki and Uusimaa (HUS) as an internist in training since June 2018, Jukka also serves as an Academy of Finland Clinical Researcher since September 2020 and has held the position of Visiting Postdoctoral Researcher at the Broad Institute of MIT and Harvard since January 2016. Prior roles include Medical Doctor at the City of Helsinki and the City of Espoo, and Postdoctoral Researcher at the Institute for Molecular Medicine Finland (FIMM). Jukka earned a Doctor of Philosophy (PhD) in Medicine and a Licentiate degree in Medicine from the University of Helsinki, completing studies from 2008 to 2015.
