Pezhman Mohammadi

Pezhman Mohammadi is a Senior Researcher Scientist and Project Manager at VTT since March 2019 and has served as an Academy of Finland Research Fellow since September 2022. Previous positions include Postdoctoral Researcher and Doctoral Researcher at Aalto University from January 2014 to March 2019, and a Thesis Worker at the University of Helsinki. Mohammadi has contributed to research on Nora-virus using cryo-electron microscopy and developed human pluripotent stem cells for diabetes modeling. Educational qualifications include a PhD in Molecular Engineering and Biomaterials from Aalto University, a Master's degree in Molecular and Structural Biology from the University of Eastern Finland, and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology and Bioinformatics from Panjab University.
