Andrew Olmsted has a diverse range of work experience in various industries. Andrew began their career in 1995 as a Manager in the Technology and Innovation Management Practice at Arthur D. Little, where they worked on developing technology strategies and assisting large corporations with technology investment and growth. In 1999, Olmsted co-founded Cambridge Incubator, where they raised funds, built a consulting services business, and co-founded a multimillion-dollar fund. From 2002 to 2009, they provided interim executive services and consulting for new venture market launches as the owner of Pinnacle Road. Olmsted then became the Managing Director of Upland Productions from 2004 to 2006, specializing in short films for schools and documentaries. In 2007, they joined IRBNet as the Executive Vice President, where they helped institutions manage federal ethics compliance board requirements. In 2010, Olmsted co-founded Alliance for Clinical Research Excellence and Safety (ACRES) and served as the Vice President of Informatics until 2016.
Andrew Olmsted attended Hanover High School from 1982 to 1986, where they completed their high school education. Following this, they received a Bachelor of Science degree in Civil Engineering from the University of New Hampshire, which they attended from 1986 to 1990. Later, Andrew pursued a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree from the MIT Sloan School of Management, where they studied from 1993 to 1995.
