Liza Powell

Liza Powell is an experienced research scientist currently serving as Research Scientist 4 at the Research Foundation for Mental Hygiene, Inc. since May 2021. Previously, Liza worked at CDPHP as a State Program Billing and Market Data Analyst, at Health Research, Inc. as a Program Research Specialist 2, and at the New York State Department of Health as a Student Assistant, where responsibilities included maintaining surveillance data on adverse events from surgical encounters. Liza also held roles such as Intern II at Health Research, Inc. promoting colorectal cancer screening, and various positions at Albany Medical Center and 15 Love, focusing on administrative and educational tasks. Liza’s educational background includes a Master's Degree in Health Policy and Management from the University at Albany and a Bachelor's in Sociology from the State University of New York at Oswego.
