Andri Konstantinou is a PhD student at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology (IMP) since September 2022, working in the Obenauf Lab. Previously, Andri held the position of Scientific Officer at The Institute of Cancer Research, where responsibilities included leading production and quality control of growth factor conditioned media for organoid culture experiments and focusing on 3D cell culture of pancreatic, breast, and oesophageal organoids. Additionally, Andri completed an internship at Science Ceilidh, creating educational resources on the cell cycle, and participated in an industrial placement at GSK, focusing on protein degradation and therapeutic applications of PROTAC technology. Early experience includes an internship at The Cyprus Institute of Neurology & Genetics, gaining skills in molecular genetics, and serving as a Course Representative at the University of Bristol, facilitating communication between students and faculty. Andri holds a Bachelor of Science in Cellular and Molecular Medicine with Study in Industry from the University of Bristol and a Master of Science in Science Communication and Public Engagement from The University of Edinburgh.
