Sabrina M. Horn

Sabrina M. Horn is a dedicated researcher specializing in biochemistry and biophysics, currently serving as a PhD student at the Research Institute of Molecular Pathology since September 2019, focusing on protein-DNA complexes. Previously, Sabrina completed a Master's thesis at the University of Copenhagen, utilizing CRISPR-Cas9 for genome-wide screenings related to O-glycan truncation. Additional experience includes internships and research positions at prestigious institutions such as EMBL, the Hospital of the University of Tübingen, and Universität Greifswald, where Sabrina gained expertise in areas like intranuclear dynamics, PCR techniques, enzyme expression optimization, and immunomodulatory effects of galectins.
