Lisa Chen has a long and varied work experience. Lisa began their career in 1992 as an Adjunct Professor and Research Scientist & Assistant at New York University. Lisa then moved to Sesame Workshop in 1995 as an Assistant Director of Sesame Street Research. In 2002, they took on roles as an Educational Public Programs Coordinator at the Strong National Museum of Play and an Adjunct Professor/Director Student Mentoring Program at St. John Fisher College. From 2004 to 2006, they worked as a Director of Youth and Education Research at Harris Interactive. During this time, they also worked as an Independent Consultant for Crux Research and an Executive Analyst at Moxie Insight. In 2010, they became the Vice President of Market Services & Intelligence at PetLynx. Finally, in 2022 they began their current role as Senior Director of Strategy & Market Insights at Research Narrative, Inc.
Lisa Chen attended Cornell University from 1988 to 1992, where they earned a Bachelor of Science in Human Development and Family Studies and Nutrition. Lisa then went on to New York University, where they completed their Ph.D. in Developmental Psychology in 1998.
