Dean Woodward is an accomplished legal professional with extensive experience in managing intellectual property and licensing. Currently serving as Assistant General Counsel for RTI International since April 2001, Dean oversees a significant IP portfolio consisting of approximately 150 issued patents within an organization of over 2,500 employees. Prior roles include Corporate Attorney positions at CheckFree Corporation and CheckFree Investment Services, and Corporate Attorney at Mobius Group. Dean began a career at the North Carolina Biotechnology Center as a Summer Intern and has engineering experience as a Project Engineer at Westinghouse Savannah River Company. Dean holds a J.D. from the University of North Carolina School of Law, an MBA from UNC Kenan-Flagler Business School, and a B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rose-Hulman Institute of Technology.
