Kaitlin Lesnick

Kaitlin Lesnick currently serves as the Director of Communications for the International Development Group at RTI International, a position held since October 2016, following roles as Deputy Director and Senior Communications Manager specializing in Food Security and Agriculture. Prior experience includes serving as Communications Director and Deputy Communications Director at USAID's Bureau for Food Security from July 2011 to October 2016, and as Deputy Press Secretary for Congressman Alan Grayson in the U.S. House of Representatives. Additional positions include Program Associate at Meridian Institute and Press Secretary to the Mayor of Bridgeport, Connecticut. Early career experiences feature roles at the Generation Challenge Program and the International Maize and Wheat Improvement Center (CIMMYT). Kaitlin Lesnick holds a Master’s degree in Public Policy from The George Washington University and a Bachelor's degree in Criminology from the University of Miami, supplemented by studies at American University and Universidad de Cantabria.
