Lynn Davis

Lynn Davis is an accomplished professional with extensive experience in the field of energy and lighting technologies. As an RTI Fellow Emeritus at RTI International since May 2001, significant responsibilities include developing models for assessing the reliability of energy-efficient solid-state lighting devices and researching tunable-white SSL luminaires. As a former Acting Center Director, responsibilities encompassed strategic planning and business development, achieving over $10 million in research funding. Previous roles include Manager of the Energy Research Laboratory at Motorola, where a transition from research to product development was successfully implemented, and a Member of the Technical Staff, providing materials analysis support for radio communication products. Lynn's early career includes a post-doctoral fellowship at Iowa State University and a PhD in Chemistry from the University of Delaware.
