Michelle Walter has extensive work experience in the fields of statistics and public health. Michelle currently holds the position of Vice President of the Statistics Division at RTI International, where they provide leadership and oversight to a multi-disciplinary team. Prior to this role, they served as the Senior Director of Public Health at RTI, where they managed a center that provided data coordinating services for clinical research networks. Michelle also has a diverse range of roles and responsibilities at Rho, including Senior Vice President, Vice President, and Assistant Vice President of Operations, as well as positions in project management and biostatistics.
Michelle Walter earned a Bachelor of Science (BS) in Mathematics from Furman University between 1991 and 1995. Michelle further pursued their education by obtaining a Master of Science (MS) degree in Biostatistics from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 1995 to 1997. In addition to their academic achievements, Michelle Walter acquired the certification of Project Management Professional (PMP)® from the Project Management Institute in August 2015.
