Nicole Mills

Nicole Mills is a seasoned education professional with extensive experience in instructional support and curriculum development. Currently serving as a Research Education Analyst at RTI International since July 2020, Nicole leads coach development training and facilitates professional learning statewide in North Carolina. Previously, at Guilford County Schools, accomplishments included improving student performance as a Curriculum Facilitator and Remediation Specialist through data-driven strategies and targeted coaching. Early career roles encompassed teaching at Guilford County Schools and a summer internship at Johnston County Public Schools where Nicole contributed to policy revisions and grant funding initiatives. Nicole holds a Master's in Public Policy and a Graduate Certificate in Educational Policy from the University of Massachusetts Dartmouth, along with a Bachelor's degree in Elementary Education from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro.
