Zhanxiang Wang

Research Scientist III at ResearchDx

Zhanxiang Wang is an experienced researcher with a strong background in oncology and regenerative medicine. Currently serving as Research Scientist III at ResearchDx, Zhanxiang Wang leads NGS oncology analysis on ctDNAs utilizing Roche Avenio and Illumina TruSight Oncology 500 platforms, as well as qPCR oncology assays with the Qiagen therascreen system. Previously, Zhanxiang Wang held roles at Cedars-Sinai as a Project Scientist and Postdoctoral Scientist, focusing on kidney regeneration and fibrosis, and contributed to mouse model development. Prior postdoctoral research was conducted at Eastern Virginia Medical School, where Zhanxiang Wang created a Wnt5a deficient zebrafish model. The academic journey included a PhD in Cell Biology and a Bachelor's degree in Biotechnology from Peking University, marked by pioneering work in CRISPR technology in zebrafish and Drosophila.
