Eric Heymann M.D. Fsserm

Eric Heymann MD FSSERM is a Senior Consultant in both the Department of Emergency Medicine and the Department of Prehospital Emergency Medicine at Réseau hospitalier neuchâtelois since May 2018. As an Emergency Medicine Physician for the Swiss Humanitarian Aid Group under the Federal Department of Foreign Affairs, Eric contributes to humanitarian efforts. Additionally, Eric serves on several committees, including the Global Emergency Medicine Committee and co-founded the Swiss Community of Emergency Medicine, aimed at enhancing collaboration in the field. Involvement with the World Health Organization as an Advisory Consultant focuses on global emergency and trauma care initiatives. Academic responsibilities include lecturing and supervising at the University of Bern, Medical Response to Major Incidents & Disasters, medi - Zentrum für medizinische Bildung, and ATLS Switzerland. Eric's educational background encompasses King's College London, University of Bern, and Worshipful Society of Apothecaries.
