Rakesh Ranjan

Rakesh Ranjan has a diverse work experience spanning various industries and roles. Rakesh is currently serving as the Chief Digital Officer (CDO) and previously held the position of Chief Product Manager at the Reserve Bank Innovation Hub (RBIH). Rakesh is also the Founder and Director of their own startup venture called SpringMed HealthIT Solutions Pvt. Ltd., where they performed multiple roles such as company incorporation, recruitment, and management. Rakesh has also served as a Member of NASSCOM IT-ITES SSC Governing Council at SECTOR SKILLS COUNCIL NASSCOM. Furthermore, Rakesh has worked as a Senior Head IT at the National Skill Development Corporation and as a Consulting Associate and Senior Associate at BFA (Bankable Frontier Associates). In the past, they were the Founder & Director of Airmed Online Healthcare Pvt. Ltd. and worked as a Consultant at National Skill Development Corporation. Rakesh also has experience as a General Manager at UIDAI, Government of India, where they were involved in the design and implementation of Aadhaar enabled social welfare schemes. Earlier in their career, they worked as a Delivery Manager at Accenture and as an Assistant Consultant at Tata Consultancy Services.

Rakesh Ranjan completed their Bachelor of Engineering (BE) degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from Birla Institute of Technology, Mesra, between 1990 and 1994. Rakesh then pursued further education and completed the Executive Management Program in Healthcare from the Indian School of Business in 2020-2021. In 2022-2023, they enrolled in the Indian Institute of Management, Calcutta, where they completed the Executive Program in Public Policy and Management, specializing in Public Policy Analysis. Rakesh Ranjan also attended St Xaviers School between 1978 and 1990, although no degree or field of study information is available for that period.
