Hopeson Naphazi

Hopeson Naphazi currently serves as In-House Counsel at The Reserve Bank of Malawi, providing in-house legal expertise since March 2022. Prior to this role, Hopeson worked as a Compliance Associate at Chidothe, Chidothe and Company from December 2020 to February 2022. Hopeson also held the position of Legal Counsel at Pearson Tax Chambers between January 2018 and December 2019 and gained experience as a Legal Intern in multiple capacities. Hopeson holds a Bachelor of Laws (LLB Hons) from Chancellor College and has obtained postgraduate certificates in Finance and Law from the Macroeconomic & Financial Management Institute of Eastern and Southern Africa, Trial Advocacy from Justice Advocacy Africa, and is currently pursuing a Postgraduate Certificate in Regulatory Compliance Management from the International Compliance Association.
