Chris McDonald

Manager Financial System Analysis at Reserve Bank of New Zealand

Chris McDonald currently serves as the Manager of Financial System Analysis and the Manager of Forecasting at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand, a position held since December 2017. Previously, Chris worked as an Economist at the Bank for International Settlements from April 2014 to November 2014, contributing to a working paper on the effectiveness of macroprudential policy and organizing a workshop for bank supervisors in SEACEN countries. Chris holds a Bachelor of Commerce with First Class Honours in Economics from the University of Otago, completed in 2007.
