David Hargreaves

David Hargreaves is a professional with extensive experience in policy projects related to financial system policy and analysis at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand. Their role involves managing teams working on prudential policy project work, policy design and advice on macroprudential instruments, stability analysis, and maintaining the Reserve Bank's Macroeconomic model. David was also a Principal Advisor at The Treasury - New Zealand, where David seconded into a joint team conducting a review of the Reserve Bank's governance and approach to prudential regulation. David holds a Master of Science in Economics from The London School of Economics and Political Science, and a Bachelor of Commerce in Economics (Honours) from Victoria University of Wellington.
