James Antwis

James Antwis is a seasoned professional in the field of economics and market analysis, currently serving as a Senior Markets Analyst at the Reserve Bank of New Zealand since October 2023. Prior to this role, James worked as an Economist at HSBC from February 2019 to September 2023, focusing on global macroeconomic and investment strategy research. Earlier experience includes a postgrad internship in the International Surveillance Division at the Bank of England, where James conducted structural growth research on China in 2017, along with a role as a Research Assistant in the same division from July 2015 to August 2016, providing macroeconomic research support for policy-making. James holds an MSc in Economics from the University of Bath and a BSc (Hons) in Investment and Financial Risk Management from Cass Business School.
