Jeff McGrath has extensive work experience in the legal field. Jeff began their career as a Student-at-Law and Articling at Davies Ward Phillips & Vineberg LLP, a top-tier corporate/commercial law firm. During this time, they worked on various matters such as private equity fund formation, mergers and acquisitions, and corporate governance. Jeff then joined DRI Capital Inc. in 2008, where they held multiple roles including Counsel, Vice President of Investor Relations, and Vice President & Senior Counsel. In these positions, they played a significant role in legal structuring, corporate governance, and compliance initiatives for investment funds managed by DRI Capital. Since 2012, Jeff has been working at Reservoir Media Management, Inc. as the Executive Vice President & General Counsel. In this role, they oversee all legal matters globally for the company and its subsidiaries, including publishing, litigation, compliance, and corporate governance. Jeff has experience working across multiple jurisdictions, including offices in Toronto, New York, Los Angeles, Nashville, London, and Abu Dhabi.

- From 2003 to 2006, they attended Queen's University in Kingston, Ontario, Canada, where they obtained an LL.B. (J.D.) degree in the Faculty of Law.
- In 2005, they participated in an international exchange program with the University of Sydney in Sydney, NSW, Australia while still enrolled at Queen's University. Jeff obtained an additional LL.B. (J.D.) degree in the Faculty of Law during this exchange.
- In 2004, they completed a certificate program in International Business Law (Business, Trade & Commercial Arbitration) at Queen's ISC located in Herstmonceux Castle, Hailsham, U.K.
- Jeff achieved a B.A. degree in English Literature from the University of British Columbia in Vancouver, B.C., Canada from 1998 to 2000.
- Prior to that, from 1996 to 1998, they earned an A.A. degree in English Literature from Capilano University in North Vancouver, B.C., Canada.
