Mark McClure

Mark McClure has a diverse work experience in the oil and energy industry. Mark founded ResFrac Corporation in 2015 and served as the CEO until the present. Prior to that, they worked as an intern at CMR Energy, Oxy, and Chevron in the years 2005-2008. Mark also held several positions at universities, including Adjunct Professor and Consulting Professor at Stanford University from 2015-2019, and Assistant Professor at The University of Texas at Austin from 2013-2015. Additionally, they completed their Ph.D. at Stanford University, where they were a PhD student from 2009-2012. Currently, they serve on the Technical Advisory Committee at Fervo Energy starting in 2018.

Mark McClure has a strong and consistent educational background in engineering and energy resources. From 2004 to 2009, they attended Stanford University, earning a Bachelor of Science (BS) degree in Chemical Engineering. During the same period, they also pursued a Master of Science (M.S.) degree in Petroleum Engineering, which they successfully completed. Following this, Mark continued their studies at Stanford University from 2009 to 2012, where they obtained a Doctor of Philosophy (Ph.D.) degree in Energy Resources Engineering.
