Sanjeet Baidwan

Primary Care Phycisian at Reside Health

Dr. Sanjeet Baidwan completed her residency training at Yale New Haven Hospital in Internal Medicine. After her residency, Yale invited Dr. Baidwan to stay on as the first Chief Resident for Advocacy and Community Health, focusing on issues of food access and social justice. As a junior faculty member at Yale, Dr. Baidwan designed and implemented a preventive medicine curriculum, where she worked with at-risk populations with preventable chronic diseases. Dr. Baidwan co-founded Yale Cultivate Health, a program that provides research and instruction opportunities to all Yale students, increasing their utilization of available resources to effectively evaluate systems of food, health and disease. Dr. Baidwan is a Clinical Instructor at Yale University School of Medicine teaching first year medical students.

Prior to joining Reside, Dr. Baidwan was the Medical Director of Complex Care at Oscar, where she managed high-risk patients. She is also the Founder and Medical Director of I.M. Well Medical, a house-call primary care practice in NYC.

Dr. Baidwan’s clinical interests include rare & chronic disease management, prevention & lifestyle interventions, LGBTQI health, medical education through mainstream & social media, and yoga. Dr. Baidwan also has a certification in Wilderness & Expedition Medicine focusing on fundamentals of search and rescue; altitude, cold, and hot environments; expedition planning and evacuations.

On her days off, Dr. Baidwan can be found with her husband and two rescue dogs in Brooklyn trying new restaurants, taking pictures on her 35mm or medium format camera, rock climbing, and tending to her city garden.
