Duncan Williams

Duncan Williams is the current head of engineering at Resident Advisor, an online music magazine and community platform dedicated to showcasing electronic music, artists and events across the globe. Duncan has held this position for three years. Prior to that, they were the Chief Technology Officer at SuperCarers, an introductory service for carers and people looking for care for their loved ones. Duncan was with SuperCarers for 2 years and 5 months. Duncan has also held the title of Head of Engineering at Resident Advisor for 3 years. In this role, they is responsible for the development activity of an international team of full-stack developers who build the website and supporting services. Duncan also manages the mobile apps team who build a consumer-facing app, the Guide and a B2B app, the Ticket Scanner. Duncan's responsibilities include managing stakeholders and creating a roadmap working closely with the product team. Duncan is also responsible for systems architecture and technology choices.

Duncan Williams has a Masters of Engineering from the University of Cambridge. Duncan specialized in mechanical engineering and was involved in various activities and societies while they were a student there. Duncan also has a certification in Agile Leadership from the Scrum Alliance.
