Mariela Trejo

Mariela Trejo is a dedicated professional currently serving as a Direct Support Professional at Residential Services, Inc. since April 2024, providing essential care to supported living residents by assisting with daily living activities. Mariela has held various roles in the food service industry, including Team Lead and Fast Food Team Member at Bojangles' Restaurants, Inc. since August 2022, and Customer Service Specialist at Liz's Taco since August 2018. Additionally, Mariela gained experience as a Barista at Port City Java from February 2023 to May 2024. Mariela Trejo is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts with a double major in Psychology and Biology, alongside a minor in Women’s and Gender Studies at the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill from 2022 to 2026, building on previous educational achievements including an Associate of Arts from Surry Community College and a Spanish Community Interpreter Certificate. Mariela is also a member of the Phi Theta Kappa Honor Society since May 2020.
