Alan Lord

Alan Lord is a seasoned Software Quality Assurance Engineer with extensive experience in the telecommunications industry. Currently serving as a Staff Software Quality Assurance Engineer at Resideo since March 2022, Alan previously held the same position at First Alert from June 2017 to March 2022 prior to its acquisition by Resideo. Alan's career began at Tellabs, where significant contributions were made as a Senior Software Engineer and Software Engineer from November 1992 to March 2003, focusing on data networking products and voice quality enhancement systems. Following this, a role as a RF Test Development Engineer at Andrew Corporation involved designing automated test systems for RF power amplifiers. Subsequently, as a Sr Lead Test Engineer at Coriant, Alan directed software integration testing for advanced transport platforms from 2004 to 2017.
