Lynda M. then moved to the American Red Cross National Capital Region in 1996 as the Chief Public Support Officer. Lynda M. D. then worked for Lawyers for Children America, Inc. from 2002 to 2005, where they were the Executive Director and Chief Development Officer. From 2005 to 2009, they were the Vice President and Executive Director at BET (BET Networks, a subsidiary of Viacom Inc.). Lynda M. then went on to pursue two Masters degrees from the University of Maryland Global Campus, earning a Master of Business Administration (MBA) in 2009 and a Master of International Management (MIM) in 2007.
