Dr. Elana Fertig is an advisor at Resistance, a position they have held since June of 2018.
Previously, Dr. Fertig was an assistant professor at the Sidney Kimmel Cancer Center from July of 2013 to June of 2018. Prior to that, they were an instructor in oncology biostatistics at the Johns Hopkins University School of Medicine from November of 2010 to July of 2013. Before that, Dr. Fertig was a postdoctoral fellow oncology biostatistics at Johns Hopkins Hospital from May of 2008 to November of 2010.
Before their work in the medical field, Dr. Fertig worked as an analyst at Metron, Inc. from May of 2007 to May of 2008. Her very first job was as a VSEP summer intern at the NASA Goddard Space Flight Center from January of 2000 to December of 2000.
Elana Fertig has a PhD in applied mathematics from the University of Maryland, an MS in applied mathematics from the University of Maryland, and a BS in mathematics and physics from Brandeis University. Elana also attended Cheltenham High School and the Summer Science Program.
