Alexis S. Foroozan

Alexis S. Foroozan is a dedicated biomedical engineer with extensive experience in research and development across several prominent organizations. Currently serving as Biomedical Engineer II at Aneuvo since February 2021, Alexis previously held positions as a Biomedical Engineer and Biomedical Engineering Intern. At Columbia University, Alexis contributed as a Graduate Research Assistant in the Laboratory for Neural Engineering and Control, overseeing an Alzheimer's research project and performing advanced histological analyses. Prior experience includes a Data Science Internship at Precision Medicine Group, where work involved biomarker data management and the co-authorship of a research paper, along with innovative studies at USC Viterbi School of Engineering focusing on brain probe technologies. Initial research at the National Cancer Institute involved in-depth investigations into DNA repair mechanisms and cancer treatment pathways. Alexis holds a Master of Science in Biomedical/Medical Engineering from Columbia University and a Bachelor of Science in the same field from the University of Southern California.
