John Karayannis

John Karayannis is a seasoned software engineering professional with extensive experience in various leadership roles across multiple industries. Currently serving as a Senior Software Engineering Manager at ResMed since December 2018, John previously held significant positions such as General Manager of Research and Development at CISRA, where management included over 40 technology professionals focused on advanced imaging technologies for Canon. Prior roles include managing software development for Toyota’s electric motor control systems, leading software teams for combat and sonar systems in the defense sector, and contributing to academic instruction in object-oriented programming. John holds a Bachelor of Engineering in Electrical Engineering from UNSW.
