Henrik Pettersson has worked in the video game industry since 1998. Henrik began their career as a Web Programmer/Designer at Maila Nordic AB in 1998, then worked as a freelance artist from 1991-1998. In 2000, they became Studio Manager at Cell Entertainment AB, where they were responsible for concept art, sculpting, managing a production facility and overseeing freelance sculptors. In 2003, they worked as a Concept Artist/3D Modeller at Idol FX AB, and in 2004 they were an Art Director/Artist at Speltjanst AB, a board games company. In 2005, they worked as an Artist at Jadestone, and in 2010 they were an Artist/AD at Fabrication Games. From 2011-2018 they worked at Mojang AB as a Game Director, and in 2018 they became Studio Art Director at Resolution Games.

Henrik Pettersson studied writing, life drawing, and comics at the School of Comics in Hofors, Sweden from 1994 to 1995.
