Lindsay Jafari-Pak

Lindsay has been working in tax related to life insurance for over 25 years.

Immediately prior to joining Resolution Life, Lindsay spent six years as a partner of PwC. She led PwC's UK life insurance tax practice, and was the UK tax lead for IFRS 17, the International Financial Reporting Standard that relates to accounting for insurance contracts.

Earlier in her career, Lindsay worked in the tax team at Herbert Smith Freehills. She went on to be UK tax director at AXA and then group tax director at Friends Life plc (after the acquisition of AXA UK’s life operations by Resolution and Friends Life).

She was on the board of TheCityUK, the financial services lobby group, for six years, and also chaired its tax group.

Lindsay is both a qualified accountant and a UK solicitor. She holds a first class degree in classics from Trinity College, Oxford.
