Simon Ramsden

Simon Ramsden has over 20 years of work experience, starting with Pfizer in 2000 as a Materials Scientist. Simon then worked at Ernst & Young as an Executive from 2004 to 2008. Following that, they joined Regus as a Group Analyst in Financial Reporting and FP&A from 2008 to 2010. In 2010, they joined GSK and held various roles including Manager Financial Reporting, Assistant Corporate Finance Director - ViiV Healthcare, Director Corporate Development, and Senior Finance Director R&D and Portfolio Consumer Healthcare. Simon worked at GSK until 2020, when they joined EUSA Pharma as the VP Head of Global Finance. In 2022, they became Chief Financial Officer at Closed Loop Medicine, before taking on the same role at Resolution Therapeutics in 2023.

Simon Ramsden attended Simon Langton Grammar School for Boys from 1993 to 2000. Following this, they pursued a Bachelor of Science degree in Medical Biochemistry at the University of Birmingham from 2001 to 2004, achieving a second class honours (2:1) classification. Simon later obtained a certification as a Chartered Accountant from ICAS - The Professional Body of CAs in September 2007.
