Chetan Kaanadka

Chetan Kaanadka has a diverse work experience in the field of design research and strategy. Chetan is currently working as a Design Researcher at Resolve To Save Lives since May 2023. Prior to this, they worked as a User Researcher at Meesho from November 2022 to April 2023.

Chetan has a significant amount of experience at Proportion - Human Centered Design agency, where they served as a Consultant in Design Research & Strategy from April 2016 to November 2022. Before that, they worked as a Consultant in Product Design & Research from March 2013 to March 2016.

Chetan also has experience as a Lead Consultant in Product Design & Innovation at iDE - Bangladesh from March 2013 to March 2016. Chetan worked as a Consultant in Product Design & Research at The World Bank - Water and Sanitation Program (WSP) from March 2013 to March 2014.

Other notable roles include a Product Designer at Driptech Inc. from April 2012 to March 2013, and an India Business Manager at Codema Systems Group from April 2011 to March 2012.

Chetan also has experience as a Design Strategy Consultant in freelance consultancy/self-employment from October 2010 to March 2012. Chetan started their career as a Graduate Trainee in Strategic Product Design at TNO Information and Communication Technology from February 2010 to August 2010.

Chetan also gained experience as a Strategic Design Intern at Evening Breeze in July 2009.

Chetan Kaanadka's education history includes three major achievements. From 1999 to 2003, they attended RV College of Engineering and obtained a Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in New Product Design at M.S. Ramaiah School of Advanced Studies from 2004 to 2005. Lastly, they attended Delft University of Technology from 2008 to 2010, where they obtained a Master of Science degree in Strategic Product Design (SPD).

In addition to their formal education, Chetan Kaanadka also obtained various certifications. In 2021, they received a Membership Certificate from The Interaction Design Foundation and completed a certificate program in Human-Centered Design: A Community-Led Approach to Development offered by Pact. In 2022, they earned certifications in Design Thinking: The Ultimate Guide and User Research – Methods and Best Practices, both provided by The Interaction Design Foundation. Furthermore, in 2023, they obtained a Social-Behavioral-Educational (SBE) Comprehensive certificate from the CITI Program.
