Director, Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at Resonance

Monica is the Director of Monitoring, Evaluation, and Learning at Resonance. She has 12 years of experience working in international development with a focus on MEL, CLA, and women’s empowerment. She has nine years of experience in monitoring and evaluation, nine years of experience in gender and women’s empowerment activities, and five years of experience working directly with USAID to develop MEL systems specifically for organizational learning. She specializes in establishing and fostering the adoption of management information systems (MIS), establishing mixed methods evidence bases designed for long term use, and guiding internal teams, government counterparts, and donor partners through the change management process necessary to establish a learning culture. Monica has six years of field-based management experience serving as Chief of Party and Country Representative in Ghana and Liberia. She has managed individual contracts of more than $21 million and portfolios of almost $100 million. She is an expert trainer and can support, maintain, and build a strong team. She has an MPA in Management from Columbia University’s School of International and Public Affairs.
