Aaron Stein is currently the Chief Technology Officer at Resonant Link. Aaron was previously a Postdoctoral Research Associate at Dartmouth College from February 2016 to July 2019, researching inductive wireless power transfer, and electromagnetic component analysis and design for high-efficiency power conversion. Prior to that, they were a Consulting Research Assistant from January 2013 to May 2015, providing analysis and expertise in power electronics and electric machines to assist expert witness services for patent infringement, warranty claim, and design defect cases. Aaron also worked as a Graduate Student Research Assistant at the University of Michigan from June 2011 to February 2016, where their research focused on developing power electronics for low-power energy harvesting devices including energy harvesting backpacks, variable capacitance devices, and piezoelectric devices. This work led to their thesis entitled "The Design and Effects of Highly-Efficient Power Electronics on Active Vibration Energy Harvesting".
Aaron Stein received their PhD in Power Electronics, Control Theory, and Energy Harvesting from the University of Michigan. Aaron also holds a Master of Science in Power and Energy with a minor in Control Theory from the University of Michigan, as well as a Bachelor of Science in Engineering from Swarthmore College.
