Filip Iliev is an experienced engineer with a diverse background in electrical engineering and applied mathematics. Currently serving as a Staff Engineer and Device Engineer at Resonant Inc., a Murata Company, since October 2016, Filip has also held positions as a Member of Technical Staff. Previously, Filip worked as a Graduate Research Assistant at Los Alamos National Laboratory from July 2015 to July 2023, focusing on Non-negative Matrix Factorization for signal processing and hydrological studies. Additional experience includes roles as a Graduate Researcher at the Pedrotti Research Group, contributing to advancements in Phase Locked Loop ICs, and as a Junior Design Engineer at Maxus Instrument, where work involved electrical design and simulation for various projects. Filip began the professional journey as an Undergraduate Assistant at the UCLA Ozcan Research Group, working on innovative microscope solutions for underserved communities. Educational qualifications include a Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering from the University of California, Santa Cruz, and a Bachelor's Degree in Electrical and Electronics Engineering from UCLA.
