Sample of Duties & Responsibilities:

Program Operations

  • Coordinate staffing for student programs, including recruitment, interviews, onboarding, training, and performance management.
  • Manage camp registration processes, including platform administration, parent communications, document sharing, and reporting.
  • Oversee program operations for summer, after-school, and intersession programming, collaborating with campus administrators and external partners.
  • Facilitate STEAM activities during the school year at Maker Mobile and partner STEAM events as needed.

Partnerships and Outreach

  • Assist in managing contracts for STEAM Dreambox and DreamCamp programs.
  • Support partnerships with after-school providers to promote STEAM Dreambox and other RAFT products and services.

Program Development and Marketing

  • Collaborate with Marketing and IT teams to support advertising campaigns, online registration, communication, and budgeting for student programs.
  • Contribute to data analysis efforts to evaluate program success and identify areas for improvement.
  • Support STEAM programming content development with a particular focus on extracurricular and SEL activities.

Supervisory Responsibilities

  • Supervises temporary STEAM Program staff under the guidance of the Director.

Qualifications & Skills: 

  • Knowledge of K-12 education issues and opportunities.

  • Familiarity with district and school operations.

  • Experience supporting part-time and seasonal instructors.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills.

  • Basic project management skills.

  • Familiarity with NGSS and CCSS learning standards (preferred).

  • Proficiency with technology, including GSuite, information systems, and virtual meeting platforms like Zoom.

Education and/or Experience:

  • Bachelor's degree in education or a related field.
  • 3 or more years of experience in teaching or managing student programs.
  • Experience in marketing student programs and services.
  • Familiarity with managing MOUs, invoicing, and district contracting activities.
