Charles Hegberg

Charles Hegberg is an experienced environmental consultant and project leader specializing in ecological restoration, environmental mitigation, and resource management. Currently serving as Senior Project Consultant at Resource Environmental Solutions LLC, Hegberg supports the public and private sector in addressing climate resilience and water quality challenges. As Managing Member of reGENESIS Consulting Services, Hegberg leads initiatives in soil, water, and energy resource management, focusing on innovative solutions such as BIOCHAR applications. Previous roles include Vice President of Business Development at Ecotone, Inc., and Mid-Atlantic Manager at Skelly and Loy, Inc., among others, demonstrating a strong background in ecological consulting and project execution. Hegberg holds a Master of Arts in Physical Geography & Environmental Planning and a Bachelor of Applied Science in Natural Resources and Conservation from Towson University.
