Ashley Taylor Buck

Ashley Taylor Buck has extensive experience in various roles that intersect digital technologies, international security, and sustainable economic growth. Starting in 2013, they worked as a Studio Manager and Resident Ethnographer at The Office for Creative Research. In 2014, they became the Director of Communications at the Center for Planetary Culture and later joined Consensus Systems (ConsenSys) as the Chief Culture Officer, where they communicated the vision of decentralization and blockchain technologies. While at ConsenSys, they also worked extensively with social enterprises and nonprofits interested in blockchain technology.

In 2016, Ashley served as the Interim Operations Manager and Community Director at The Office for Creative Research. Ashley Taylor went on to work as a Community Microgrid Specialist at LO3 Energy in 2017. In the same year, they also started their role as a Consultant on how to use Technology for Positive Social Impact while pursuing a Computer Systems degree.

In 2018, Ashley started the Regenerative Resource Network, founding RE:GEN:CY, a community and events space promoting sustainable economic growth through localism. Additionally, they co-founded Future Culture, a non-profit partnership focused on integrating blockchain and community to prioritize reputation.

Since 2015, Ashley has been a Cyber Threats and Compliance Expert at Compliance and Capacity Skills International, LLC, where they specialize in cybersecurity and researches the effectiveness of regulatory frameworks. Ashley Taylor delivers lectures on UN Security Council resolutions and has participated in workshops and conferences globally.

Most recently, Ashley founded ReSource in 2021, where they serve as the Founder and Principal.

Ashley Taylor Buck obtained a Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) degree in Cultural Anthropology and Visual and Media Studies from Duke University, where they studied from 2009 to 2013. In addition, Ashley attended a program called "semester at sea," but the duration and specifics of this experience are unknown.
