Kareem Benavides

Kareem Benavides is an experienced IT professional with a robust background in network administration and systems management. Currently serving as a Network Administrator at Resource Management Concepts, Inc. since January 2023, Kareem previously held multiple positions in the US Navy from August 2002 to August 2022, culminating in the role of Senior System Administrator. Responsibilities included managing a team of 23 Sailors to ensure 96% uptime for enterprise networks serving over 5000 customers, and providing expertise on the MQ-25 Stingray platform as an Information Technology Advisor. As the Lead Petty Officer, Kareem oversaw 12 team members and managed numerous telecommunications systems in support of critical defense missions. Additionally, as an Information Assurance Technician Level II, Kareem ensured compliance with Department of Defense directives. Education includes attendance at San Antonio College from August 1998 to October 1999.
