Diogo Silva is a highly experienced geostatistician with a robust background in mining and mineral engineering. Currently serving as Principal Geostatistician at Resource Modeling Solutions since August 2019, Diogo has previously held senior roles at Newmont Canada and Clayton V. Deutsch Consultants Ltd., where expertise in geological modeling and resource mapping in the Athabasca Oil Sands region was applied. Academic credentials include a Ph.D. candidacy at the University of Alberta, alongside MSc and Bachelor's degrees in Mining Engineering from the same institution and Universidade Federal de Minas Gerais, respectively. Diogo's notable skills encompass 3D and 4D seismic data integration, advanced multivariate data imputation techniques, and innovative tools development aimed at optimizing resource conversion and uncertainty management in mineral exploration.
