Manj Sohal

Manj Sohal is currently the VP of Service Delivery at ReSource Pro. Manj has over fifteen years of experience in various leadership roles.

Sohal started their career in 2004 as the Circulation & Distribution Director at Noblesse Ad. & Media Co. Ltd. (Shanghai). Manj was responsible for using lean methods to establish the widest and most effective luxury magazine distribution system in China. As a result, the startup attained the second fastest growth in advertising sales nationally (2007).

By 2008, it was one of the top 20 ad-revenue generating magazines in China. From 2007 Noblesse had the largest proven readership of luxury consumers in China (HKABC audited – hkabc.com.hk).

Some key goals that Sohal achieved during their time at Noblesse include increasing the number of display points from 570 to 4,400 venues, increasing China wide distribution from 4 to 52 cities, and increasing the average monthly magazines delivered from 1,800 to 4,200 copies per person. Manj was also responsible for initiatives that were implemented in production, logistics, service, and transactional/office environments through direct engagement with frontline staff, stakeholders, and directors. These initiatives included transformation from push to pull based distribution with magazines in venues replenished according to reader consumption & ideal copies per display point rather than fixed numbers, and decreased shipment times to other cities by 75% through smaller and more frequent batches according to daily regional demand and improvements in process flow.

In 2009, Sohal left Noblesse to join Alchemy Solutions as a Performance Improvement Specialist. Manj remained with Alchemy until 2010 when they took their current role at ReSource Pro.

Manj Sohal is a lawyer who graduated from the University of London with an LLB in law.
