Dan Hardy has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Dan started their career as a Non-Profit Management Consultant, providing community development and capacity building services to various clients. Dan then worked as a Housing Development Project Manager at Partners In Housing before joining Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation as a Housing Development Project Manager and later as a Senior Project Manager. During their time at Cabrillo, they focused on land acquisition, building development, and improving workability within the organization. After that, Dan worked as the Housing Development Director at the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura, where they managed multiple projects, including the Encanto Del Mar Apartments and the Soho family apartments. Dan then returned to Cabrillo Economic Development Corporation as a Senior Project Manager, overseeing the Paseo Santa Clara & Paseo Del Rio Apartments project. Following that, they served as a Senior Developer at the Housing Authority of the City of San Buenaventura, where they managed a range of responsibilities, including expanding the development pipeline, financial analysis, and project management. Prior to their current role, Dan worked as an Independent Consultant, specializing in Salesforce administration and development. Currently, they are the Director of Systems and Technology at Resources for Community Development, managing the systems and technology-related aspects of the organization.
Dan Hardy has a Bachelor of Engineering degree in Fuel and Energy Engineering from the University of Leeds. Dan also pursued graduate work in mechanical engineering at Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute. In addition to their formal education, Dan Hardy holds certifications including Salesforce Certified Administrator, Salesforce Certified Advanced Administrator (SCAA), Salesforce Certified Platform App Builder, and Salesforce Certified Service Cloud Consultant, all obtained through Salesforce.

Resources for Community Development (RCD) creates and preserves housing for people with the fewest options, to build community and enrich lives. We provide safe, quality homes that are affordable to over 4,500 individuals and families who are low-income so they can continue to live, work and play here in the Bay Area. RCD’s affordable, quality housing and services provide benefits to the whole community as well as individual households. • It promotes inclusive, healthy, complete communities. • It builds economic strength through jobs and local spending. • It makes a long term contribution to environmental quality and sustainability. • It gives the next generations of residents the opportunity for a strong and stable start in life. Since it was founded in 1984, RCD has developed 2,500 homes for low to moderate-income residents in more than 65 communities in the Bay Area region. We have an inclusive model of housing development that ensures that people with special needs are part of our communities. Almost one third of our units are set aside for people with special needs.
