Matti Mäkelä

Matti M. has extensive experience in the engineering and project management fields, primarily within the electrical and control systems sectors. Currently serving as an Architect and Remote Maintenance Expert at KONE since January 2014, Matti M. focuses on remote maintenance and diagnostics, while previously holding the position of Senior Project Manager. Prior to KONE, positions included Design Manager and Senior Design Engineer at ABB Oy, where responsibilities encompassed motor and line converter control and the development of low voltage AC drives. Additional roles at ABB Industrie AG and ABB Oy involved control software development and motor control algorithms. Matti M. began an academic career as an Assistant Teacher at Helsinki University of Technology, and holds a Master of Science degree in Electrical Engineering from Teknillinen korkeakoulu-Tekniska högskolan, earned in 1995.
