Kathi Curtin Williams is an experienced professional in social services, with a focus on community support and fundraising initiatives. Currently serving as a Child and Youth Worker at Hand In Hand since October 2015, Kathi also founded the Peterborough Pet Food Bank in October 2013 to assist families in need of pet care during financial hardships. Kathi's extensive background includes roles as a fundraiser at Our Space Drop In Center, a support worker at Respite Care, Inc., and past security at Kawartha Downs Raceway. Previous experience includes work as an awake overnight support worker at Cavan Youth Services and chair of transportation at the MS Society Peterborough Chapter. Kathi co-created The LivingRoom Drop In Center for youth and has been an advocate for the United Way of Peterborough & District as a speaker. Educational accomplishments include a Social Service Worker Diploma in Case Management from Fleming College and ongoing studies in Sociology, with a focus on Gender and Social Justice at Trent University.
